While the Hawaii FTP operated by Mdenny was the first true repository the Dimension Video FTP predated it a little but was not a big public uploading ground. The Dimension Video FTP did house several popular AMVs and even had a couple in VOB format like Pakman Production's Girls straight off the Otakon discs as I recall.

Yes, I remember life before the Golden Donut (or even the Dangling Carrot). Good ol' FTP. I never actually used Waldo's archive, but I'd definitely dig seeing it in all its glory.
