Oh god. This morning, "I heard this story on NPR about this thing they do at anime conventions..." was the first thing one of my co-workers said. I didn't know whether to laugh or cringe. Both?

The announcer does sound amused at everything, but it's a fluff piece. It's meant to sound light and cute, I think. Which isn't so bad.

Bob Babkawk(Thats right I didn't want to say COCK) is a AeroSpace engineer by day and a amv edittor by night, he is now mingling with his kind in Otakon

Notice that she has to make him sound like he's some sort of animal that "mingles with his kind" XD.
