While discussing who had a silencer, MJ brought up a good pint.

MJ: yeah, if you walked up to a crowd of amv makers at awa or something, what is the video you would mention to get into the crowd?
MJ: like, if pwolf walked up to the awa crowd and said something about mitternacht, people would know
MJ: but not everyone was so lucky, i remember one guy introduced himself and his vids and i had no idea who he was :\
MJ: it was because he didnt have a silencer
MJ: so his comments fell on def ears

MJ: everyone talked to you

metro: and it gave me confidence to talk to everyone else

While everyone is nice at AWA I think there is a difference in your con experience at AWA if you have a silencer vid. I think this is true at all cons but more so at AWA because it is so AMV-centric and so many "Big Names" attend.
