When you sign on to run an AMV contest, you assume a large amount of responsibility. You don't agree to run a contest, and then decide, "oh, I've got more important things to do, so I'm gonna axe the title cards and improperly label ballots because I don't have the time." That's bull.
As creators, we hope that when we submit a video, the work will be treated with respect. One presumes that the person running the contest will know how to handle submissions, the amount of sumbissions, and the overall presentation of videos to be shown at the con itself. Once that assumption is proven false, yeah, of course people are going to bitch and moan about it when the person in charge of the contest doesn't know how to run an organized event.
