To be honest, 90% of the videos I watch lately are recommended by another creator or friend on the .org through a message client or something.
At the same time, I somewhat agree with what Beo said in that i look at both the score and the number of opinions. I usually look for 10+ opinions before I truly "believe" the scores and I hate to be brutally honest...I also look at the names of the people who gave the opinions. If the names are all "SSJ_XYZ" or "MAJIN_ABC" or some variant of a DBZ name (as in almost all of the opinionators), I'm a bit more skeptical.
This is another reason why I think Phade should adopt the "Baysian" distribution used on IMDB.com which takes into account both the score AND the number of opinions prior to ranking. Basically a video with more opinions "earns" and validates that average further. For example, a video with 3 opinions and a 10 score hasn't truly "proven" it's a 10 video while a video with 400 opinions and a score of 9.5 more or less (statistically) proven that it deserves that score.
Oops I got off topic >_>. Either way, I think that would help those particular lists we have.
How many people follow by scores?

I care not about petty scores. HAR HAR HAR
Nowadays, being on 56k and all, I almost always just go by creator. I get my friend's videos first, anticipated creators second, and intriguing videos last. I really don't care how people score the videos, as I've found myself with a different opinion on way too many videos to trust someone else's. But of course, if one of those creators makes a video I'm not at all interested in, I won't get it.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.
