i just watch some amvs i haven't watched in a while when i get tired of editing. sometimes they give me inspiration, but if not, they're always fun to watch.

Heh, that definitely is not the way for me to get rid of burnout. I just see more and more clearly how much my project sucks. :)

I've lost count how many times that has happened to me, then I go through a few episodes of EK's Failed Experiments... (I don't mean watch them, I mean go through that experience). But usually that motivates me to change around my video rather than give up.
