perhaps a prequel about a second impact that was stopped and covered up so as for people (such as Keel) would never find out?
But i personally want them to make a series on the fake reallity seen in ep 26 where Asuka wakes up Shinji, Rei is the nu girl etc...
that would be pretty cool.

I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

I might also add the movie is called "The END of Evangelion." It's quite obvious the creator doesn't want to continue the story and that it is finished to him.
Leave it be.

Yeah, but those were filmed at the same time and cut later due to time/content (thus still somewhat original) as opposed to filmed after the End of Evangelion which is what this thread is about.the Black Monarch wrote:I disagree. The Director's Cut episodes prove that the story can still be added to in a lot of ways - just not after the end.Aetherfukz wrote:Evangelion is a masterpiece within. Nothing can add to it.

it would pretty much be people rebuilding the world (as most of it, or at least most of japan was destroyed) and the conclusion of shinji/asuka/touji's mental trauma
FUCKLE ... i wanted to use that image for an avatar ... oh well ... it looks good on you ... danm she's hot... and my age too
any ways as you said, it would be a pretty weird thign to build a second season around ... unless you wanted to make an alternate reality thingy liek Escaflowne and the movie.
wait a minuite ... in end of eva most of teh world looked opretty wrecked ... but what about in the series? i can't remember how the series ended very well since i only saw it once.

yeah, that's what happened with toriyama, he didn't want anything after dragonball z, hence the 'z' at the end, but that didn't stop them from making dragonball gt...how saddwchang wrote:Amen!Aetherfukz wrote:Evangelion is a masterpiece within. Nothing can add to it.

well in the tv series, it ended at the part where shinji decides to accept himself as having sum worth, in the movie, it showed how he came back but in the tv ending, it just cut it off when he reaches that realization, so it's on a higher note when compared to the movie just because we don't get that choking scene that can be misconscupeled as violencePropyro wrote:wait a minuite ... in end of eva most of teh world looked opretty wrecked ... but what about in the series? i can't remember how the series ended very well since i only saw it once.

Whos to say that spike died, and that he didnt just awaken from his sleep that wasnt worth dreaming anymore? I'm not gonna make a big thing here but i agree either way that bebop 2 is an even worse idea...Fronzel wrote:Oh, yeah, I think it's a grand idea. Then they can make Bebop 2 where Spike comes back to life like in The Crow and stupid fan-girls will have an orgasm right then and there. Super.
Honestly. Things end. Dragging them back to life is an awful idea that sullies the ending you have in the first place and it all ends up with no dignity at all.
And I like the open-ended nature of the er... ending. Not everything has to be spelled out.

I am going to have to agree with some of these people posting
The series is over, those who wish for a sequel are the ones who cannot let go of it and just don't want to admit it is over. I would like for a sequel, but I don't know what it could be about.
