Took the liberty of checking this guy's site, and seeing what he'd done AMV-wise.
If I didn't know any better I'd say he was a well-thought out prank.
Of the two videos on the site, both are DBZ, both are in RealMedia.
The songs?
"In the End" and "Enter Sandman". Wow. Just...wow.
so he's just starting out, everybody has to start out somewhere right, and i don't see where you get off being all high and mighty. All he was trying to do is get people to join his contest, and all you do is give him a hard time.

Im still waiting for somebody to make an "In the end" video done right. No one seems to make one that actually pays attention to the lyrics. I was actually thinking that Hoshi No Koe would go well with In the end, I should try and make it. Anyways as to the high and mighty comment, I think that statement is un called for, he could have said something a whole lot worse. Besides everybody is entitled to their own opinions.WhereNext wrote:RichLather wrote:Da-yumn. Me be honored.

I don't have a problem with anyone starting out, but when someone seems to go out of their way to begin so goofy-foot wrong on all counts, I can't help but point it out.WhereNext wrote: so he's just starting out, everybody has to start out somewhere right, and i don't see where you get off being all high and mighty. - HAY GUYS I'm running a contest, but you gotta join my forums to be in it!
- Oversized avatar and sig, which when pointed out elicits "It's not a problem on my forums, why should they be a problem here?" (Because we've got rules, Sparky)
- Personal AMVs and site which epitomize the LinkinBall style.
As for the high and mighty bit, yeah, I can be arrogant sometimes. After over a decade in the AMV field, I think I've earned the experience to tell someoneelse they're going about things the wrong way. I'd love to see this guy do something other than a DBZ video.

TommyRude's "Ep. 27 : In the End" is about the best I've seen, with a great chromakey effect. It still isn't perfect, but it's better than 90% of the others I've seen that use it.MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote: Im still waiting for somebody to make an "In the end" video done right. You had to be there....
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

well, i agree with the over use of the dragonball z and likin park combo. But you could have tried to be a little more constructive with your critisiscm. I know when i first started making amvs, they were all DBZ and to crap like slipknot and metallica(started making AMVs about 3 years ago), but fortunately none of my vids from that era ever got displayed. It just tends to be a common trend in people that are just starting out making amv's. Instead of bashing them for there song and anime choice, i try to persuade them into different directions. And also, out of all the "in the end" vids i have seen, i have only seen one that ever went with the words, in my opinion, no matter what the song is, the vid should go with the words.

First of all, i've been thinking making a DBZ MV, with the song "InThe End", and if you haven't seen DBZ Movie 13, you don't know who's Tapion, but if you watch it you'll know that he will go great with the song, as for my first MV, I try to do it my best, but hey I failed, and I even know that. Second its not " Metallica - Enter MR Sadman" its " Metallica - The Unforgiven ", if you listen to it, that song goes great with the Trunks Special, second I am actually working on an Akira vid, if you haven't hear about that anime, well go find out, its nothing like DBZ at all. And finally, your just a HATER! lol. And yes I am a begginer in Anime MV making, so my or anyones else begginner MV are all the same, they suck, hell I know my Tapion Trubute sucked, I bet your first one sucked also!MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote:Im still waiting for somebody to make an "In the end" video done right. Judge for yourself. I just uploaded it today to the Dangling Carrot.
It's not truly the exact same thing as I made 14 years ago, but I do stand behind its being at least 90% the same in construction.
And I apologize for misrepresenting one of the songs you used for your music videos. However, I would encourage you to try other sources if you plan on making more videos in the future. No doubt you've noticed that there is a stigma attached to Dragonball Z and Linkin Park (or Metallica) AMVs.
