Re: So Christmas stuff
so far I got an awesome Fischer-Price submarine, a mini version of my Russian hat that can be worn in non-extreme weather, and a bottle of vodka. I'm a happy Russian :3
Now I need to do all of my Christmas shopping. Love giving people stuff, but am terrible at finding it .___.

Stuff I'm giving:

(The Star Trek Pizza Cutter not the pizza)

And some jewelry.
I'm hoping for some RAM, an external hard drive, Tears to Tiara, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Re: So Christmas stuff
This year we have less money than I prefer for giving presents, but I wanted to get something for all of the Chicago AMV editors (all....17), so I made goodie bags. I spent 16+ hours baking and decorating cookies, then put them together into goodie bags with candy canes and chocolates. We were able to afford to get some things for our apartment here, so we got little gifts, like pajama pants, necklaces, slogan t-shirts, and such. For Adam, I got him a nice pair of winter boots. His little feet get so cold in the Chicago winter, given that he's only used to the Las Vegas weather. For me? The only thing I really wanted was a Star Wars book, and possibly a jewelry box. I'm thinking a certain someone will be ordering the former and I might buy myself the latter.
We already had our apartment Christmas here since people were going home for the holidays, and I got a lot of wonderful gifts. A pink sheet set, along with an entire rainbow bed set (not pink?! zomgz!1), about 5 different scarf/glove/hat sets, a pink manicure set, a string of ornamental butterflies which are currently adorning my monitors, a bath set, a hair wrap towel, a manicure set, a copy of How to Train Your Dragon, tickets to see Wicked, and a stocking with a few other odds and ends.

Re: So Christmas stuff
My mom bought me this:

It's an original painting by this Buddhist monk. She said she got me it because I want a cat but my allergies have gotten worse over the years without owning one so she thought that might suffice for the time being
I need to get a good frame for it and hang it up.
My sister put together a photo album. Some of the pictures i've never seen before and some i'd forgotten about. It was really touching and I started to tear up a bit. It was a really nice gift IMO.

Re: So Christmas stuff
I gave:
Mom - a book on watercolors and technique, she's been wanting to get into it.
Dad - a book on trains...he's a train otaku.
Bro - some HDSLR books and magazines
Grandma - a book on Florida wildlife since she's never been
I also gave my mom a rather weird present, but she loved it so much. A guy I work with has a thrift store, and he's constantly bringing things from it and giving them to people just because. He gave me a WW2 bayonet once that was really awesome and in really awesome condition. He also brought me this weird little silver box in a leather pouch, and said he had no clue what it was but that I could have it. I looked it up, and to the best of what I could figure, it is a civil war era howitzer fuse pouch. This is an awesome coincidence, as my great great grandfather was stationed with the Richmond howitzers. He was their clerk. My mom is huge into the family history and loves civil war era history, so I had to give the box to her. After I explained it she was like "THIS IS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN" :3
I got:
Legos
New Dean Koontz book
A pretty nice long sleeved shirt
A wad of money :3
Parents said they were gonna buy me an ipod touch, but were not sure what I'd want so they gave me the money instead. Now I just need to decide on whether or not to get it, or maybe pay off my CC >_>
