No, it's fine. It's still from the same anime, plus you're allowed to use multiple anime sources if you like. Welcome to the project. I'm glad to see that the Newsboys are being used.

I got pointed here by AtomX. I agree with his standpoint about the misclassification of Mae and Anberlin, and Tooth & Nail in particular, but I'm not going to debate it. If you guys want to use them in the project, I'm happy that they're music is being exposed :) However, I just want to express my support of what AtomX is saying: Christian rock isn't the same as Rock by Christians, especially in the business side of things. That's one of the reasons the band I might use is resisting being classified as Christian Rock.

If I can decide on a song and anime, I would like to use Mute Math, an outstanding band composed of Christians. At the moment, I have several projects underway, so I don't want to stretch myself too thin. Also, I haven't decided which song I might want to use, or even which segment of a song, and the same goes for a source. However, if I can come back in a few weeks with a solid concept, I'd like to be considered for the project :)

It's too difficult for us to track down each band one by one and know for sure if they wish to classified as Christian Rock or not, and there's a lot of grey area for the "are they or aren't they?" question. I don't really believe it's my place to choose if a band is Christian or not. Pretty much all I'll do is look them up on Christain Rock websites and see if they're listed as such. Our main goal here is to expose artists that are, at the very least, Christian-themed, or composed of Christians, that aren't heard of as often as the more mainstream secular artists.

I found Mute Math on both both CMCentral.com and Freshreleases.com, so we'll accept them if you choose to use them. Let us know if you get an idea you want to do for the project.

I certainly hope you aren't mis-reading my intentions. I do think this is a cool idea for a project, and it's not that I think any of these bands in question should be "banned" or anything from being used. Like I said, I just personally have an issue with bands being mis-classified.

Yeah, I get you, don't worry. I was just hoping to clarify which bands will be OK'd for this project.

OK, I've decided what I want to do :o

Song: Mute Math - Chaos
Anime: RahXephon
Length: 1:05

If you feel this'll be too long or it will put you over, then don't worry about it. I plan on making a full video to this as well, so if there isn't room I'll just finish it on my own time :)

Huh, another Palm Beach Gardens native :o

And it's not murder. First off, DGIndex is going to resize all of your DVD footage to 720x480. Second, that's the correct aspect ratio for television, since the pixels aren't square. If they want to submit this to a convention or author a DVD, 720x480 is the way to go. Besides, it can always be sized down to 640x480 for online distro.
