just because this site was founded on amvs alone doesn't mean we can't evolve. correct me if i'm wrong, but the argument against this subforum seems to be a fear of change.

Sorry but I'm with Gotenks on this one, I really don't see the possibility of the LAMVer's over populating AMVer's, it's like driving to the moon with a car, never gonna happen. And you're not very active on this site anyways (besides this topic), so why not let the people have what they want, it really doesn't make a difference to most of the people here, but for no reason, some people wanna choose a side and debate.

I believe you need to have a better argument than "ur n0t vury acteve 0n dis site" because regardless of how active or not I am on this site, I'm still part of the community, dumbass. And a more valuable member than you for that matter.

Now to the non-retarded people:
The only reason I don't see this as something we should do is because the site's main intention was for people to share, make, and talk about AMVs. The people who prefer LAMVs more than AMVs will most likely give more of their attention to LAMV section.
And people already post their LAMVs in the donators section...

Nobody is trying to change the sites main intention. This is simply an added bonus for people who choose other mediums than anime to make videos. It's a place to announce other videos that are self hosted. We have a thread for it, therefore it's obviously acceptable in the eyes of the admins/mods. So rather than have a thread that we have to search through PAGES and PAGES to find a video, why not have a fucking forum to announce these videos? There will be no hosting here, and I'm sure it would be heavily modded. I'm even willing to mod it myself.

You need anime --> anime section
You need music --> music section
You need to bring them together --> video (tech) section

Except the video section isn't intended as in "videos" in general, but as in video under a technological side of things. As in the editing seen under the light of bringing anime and music together. So yes, live action doesn't have anything to do with the video section.
