Sony Vegas Project Crash (Error) Please Help

I have the same problem. when I try to extract AMV and change the proprties to make it under certain compressed (like Xivid+MP3) the error occure

even when I try to import video file same error and S.V close


I'm gonna instal sony vegas pro 9 and see if everything will be fine >> hope so

The same thing happen to me ONCE in a while not all the time sometimes it must be no reason when i think about it.
