Comments are for the editor. There's no reason for anyone else to even see them.

And, yes, being able to see other OPs on a vid after you OP it kinda irks me as well... =/
(Actually, there have been a lot of changes lately i've been against - I'm going to have to seriously reconsider my future donations)

I like looking at other ops if I wish to submit a well thought out one. Just in case they catch something you missed. Also it's a nice ego boost when you catch (a few) something nobody else did . If I happen to be making an op that's NOT too well thought out I tend to scan the other ops too to gather clever insults and edit them in.

If they were to be public and anonymous just like the QC, I would imagine the same but in public (flaming in public, that is). Probably, the fact that it would show the username would stop some people from throwing up senseless shit to the video.

I propose a method to replace QCs in which videos are rated according to a variety of categories, to lessen the abstraction of the star system. I like the 5 star system where 3 average, but think more stars would be better. Perhaps 10, with 5 being the average. Also, add fields so that people can be all the more specific if they feel is needed.

We should give the editor the option to display a sampling of these ratings, to demonstrate how some other viewers felt about the video, so people can see if the video sounds good right on the profile. We could display an average of all the responses to give a quick idea, I'm thinking with elimination the extreme values to bypass over enthusiastically good or bad replies.

Why? Only about 1 in 10 QC's actually says anything at all about the video. Most of them are little more than a chance for people to insult others without the consequences of their name being known, fucking pussies. It's not even like they're funny insults.

A poor girl just came in from the tube that expects to upload her 230 SM videos. Specifically I really pity what kind of qc's she'll get. She already has 20 uploaded, how much you wanna bet she won't get passed 50 ^_^... at least 50 downloadable. This site canNOT take that kind of nonsense. I've got nothing against SM or if say a DBZ fanatic wanted to do the same thing! I'd say the same. For her own sanity I'm making it my personal goal to stop this. Not only would 230 uploads clog the bandwidth (I'm sure not many would be watched more than once...) but it's also a huge waste of space! Their all wmvs and probably all complete songs (50-100megs). That's only 2 gigs but the tube is full of this! Why are we trying to immitate this? CAN we immitate this? No I highly doubt it is all I'm saying, many more folks (I'd say kiddies but she's obviously 20+ :/) with 2 gigs+ of amvs with more to come will bring down the freedom we all enjoy within a matter of SECONDS!! PLEASE do not ignore this travesty, make it YOUR personal goal to stop this as well!! (but please stay polite ^_^ the video I saw of hers... more a clip really, was... horrible... but pls. ... ... ... ... keep the qcs coming try to cut and paste the same one on every video most likely she won't see every one so viva la org!!)
