Re: Do you edit at work?
If my work PC wasn't less beefy then the first PC I ever edited on I might. Though I don't know if I really like the idea of editing on something with only 1 screen and not as fast/expensive then my home PC.
I have however remote'd into my home PC and started some video conversions and things. I've done image work this way, never actual video editing though, that requires sound.

Work inside, so I don't count.
In past jobs though, like Ileia, I've come up with ideas for videos.

Sure, I bet you all work on your AMVs at work but don't admit it...

Re: Do you edit at work?
I am required to be at work the entire day, regardless of how much work I actually have that day. There are even days when I have no actual work at all. And my superiors aren't stupid, so they let me do whatever I find productive. It isn't their idea for me to be there so much- you can blame the school board for that logic.Pwolf wrote:I see what you did thereCastor Troy wrote:I make amvs at work.

Re: Do you edit at work?
Productivity in my position is usually dependent upon how much things go wrong in the office technology wise. If nothing goes wrong I'm free to pursue my own projects as assigned to me by my boss, other employees I feel obligated to do something for, and myself. In the end I choose when to work on something, how long to spend on that at any given time, and when I need to take a break from any of it. Often I get paid to sit and read a book or watch a progress bar. In the end, the job still gets completed and in about as much time as it would if I didn't take breaks. The difference is my sanity and ability to then spend more time staring at a computer screen when I get home.

Re: Do you edit at work?
I wasn't sure if this could stand on its own as a separate thread. Not everyone is a donator, so donators' was not going to be enough.
With my system of beta releases being what it is, Minmay's a Bitch 2.0 should have two more before release. At the pace I have been editing at work (four or five hours per day), I predict a release date of sometime next week. Beta8 has been exported but not released.
In order to complete the credits, I need a list of anyone who has seen one of the previous betas, macrossbeta1-macrossbeta7. Seeing as how this project has taken five years, I can't remember everyone who saw a beta outside of Inner Circle (and not entirely sure about everyone in IC either). I will take your word for it.
