Not that I'm saying I was responsible for the stuff in the guides about "SetMemoryMax," but I do distinctly remember Ian and others (who I now call my friends) helping me with this. It was weirder b/c as it was occurring, I remember thinking "Oh man, my video is screwed. Even Ian doesn't know how to fix it!" Of course, he eventually figured it out with SetMemoryMax() and that's now something we take for granted

. Back then? It was like "OMGWTF IS GOING ON WITH PREMIERE AND WHY IS IT ONLY HAPPENING TO ME?!?!"

...and not that it matters to any of you, but the video I was working on would later be my favorite video (still) I've ever edited so...yeah this post is all nostalgic for me.

Well actually looking at most of these is nostalgic. I mean some of these people I see every year and take for granted as friends now, but back then...I was 'just another noob' and they were strangers. Hell, in the former thread I didn't even realize Jay replied to it and he didn't even live in Austin like Brad and I did. Good times Brad...good times (I shall cherish our weekly man-dates >_>).

Edit: I also just realized my first posts were in the VCA forum in 2002 and that's probably why I can't find them. I imagine they're not part of the normal search parameters. I imagine they are far noobier >_>

Edit 2: Don't even get me started on the first e-mails I sent to folks like ErMaC and dokidoki back in the day -_-;;. I pray they've deleted them...

apparently I waited until I released the first Dance vid before I actually started posting, despite having been a member long before then. I also apparently didn't really make many posts beyond those involving Youmacon for quite a while there as well...

I forgot some people actually kind of enjoyed the first Dance ^^()

My 1st post. . .back when I couldn't make banners for shit (Or at least was worse at it to the point of being unable to get one worthy.). . .and actually cared. O.o

And sometimes, I whined if I thought stuff was wrongfully rejected, which was actually a relevant issue at the time due to constantly being rejected for shittiness (in the form of logo issues and unreadable/changed text.)

But I was still a bishie loving fangirl. *^_^*

Only I used WMM

And had rather lofty, n00bish ambitions and aspirations that haven't been even close to being achieved in 3 years and probably won't for a LOOOONG time. (if ever)

I couldn't get anyone to admit that RAWS were a necessary evil - at that time Naruto wasn't even on DVD in Japan past the first few episodes. Not really being dumb, just trying to call bullshit on it.

My first post was, apparently, related to the music database being fucked up. I thought it'd get fixed. I was so naive.
