The AC Cubed 2007 AMV Contest

For those who are interested, I can likely have AC-Cubeds AMV contest available to download after the convention. That is the entire contest showing, live video of the MC doing the show and award winners with mixed in live feed from the media players and the cameras. Though it'll all be mixed as composite signals in an analog mixer and then fed into a hardware capture card, not exactly HDTV but it'll be interesting.

I thought it would open on the 30th. On the deadline date oO

If you're working on your entry right up to deadline time (September 30, 2007), you can FTP your entry/ies and completed entry form(s)

Earlier would be sweet ^^'

Just finally got it confirmed that AC Cubed's FTP for AMV contest submissions is now officially open. The contest rules, including the entry form PDF, FTP address and login, are up at:

Yes, this took some time to get happening, and I'm now hammering at the people involved for a deadline extension. For now, if your entries are ready to go (as in, also not including any credits/bumpers), you might want to get at it right now, and please don't forget to complete and hit the E-mail button on the entry form. Hey Dave,

If it isn't too late - I'm thinking of tossing in a video as a non-competing entry. It was gonna be a competing entry, but it won two prizes at AWA so trolling it around is probably a bit unfair. (Unless you think otherwise)

Guess I'll drop it on the FTP tomorrow.

If it's only won prizes at one con, I don't consider it trolling. Feel free to make it competing, but please note the AWA prizes in the blank on the entry form. Thanks, and I look forward to it.

I seem to be having an issue with the ftp...it says it "unable to resolve host name". I've got it correct (I checked several times) and have the correct login name.

Any thoughts?
