Need Anime Series Suggestions

Basilisk...there are 20 main characters and 24 episodes. Just about a character dies every episode that impacts the story.

No one has mentioned Saikano yet?

Saikano definately makes you emotional, it revolves around a lot of deaths, it takes place during a war. A lot of shuji's friends are killed throughout the series. (though he seems to avoid all of it :/)
I can't remember the episodes exactly but I can assure that when you get into the series, people die pretty much every episode. Some war-like, others not. It's definately an emotional show. Dunno if that helps o.O

I agree and that is absolutly true they do die in EVERY season. especially the main one sailor moon. although in the 5th season i dont recall her dying quite the opposite actually everyone dies BUT her. and also the starlights
