I'd have to say:
1)Find or encode good quality source without subtitles.
2) Find a higher quality version of your song.
3) Learn your editing program of choice
4) Spend months constructing a beautiful AMV
5) Export it
6) Encode it as desired
7) Upload to ORG
8) Announce on Forums
9) Get punched in the face for even trying

I love how people defer the responcibility of them suking onto others. Just because you tried doesn't mean you get a fucking gold star and a pat on the back for effort. If it sucks it sucks - deal.N0OB wrote:I'd have to say:

I remember everyone telling me my video sucked after I said I spent 4 hours on it.BasharOfTheAges wrote:I love how people defer the responsibility of them sucking onto others. Then thinking that was the reason, I removed the info of the time I spent on it in the video info, my score went up, and in came the title wave of good comments.

WTF??

Step 1: Create or respond to a thread about making AMVs on the forum. Be sure to sound very professional, as if it's something you've done for years. Use enough big words, and you might fool some people into thinking you know what you're talking about and make awesome videos.

x2. Or a more diplomatic thought - the audience owes you nothing. Ever. If they're cordial and constructive, that's definitely a bonus, but they are certainly not obligated to enjoy your video, no matter how much you love it or how much time you spent on it. If they don't enjoy it, that is not their fault for failing to see the special snowflakeness of your baby.BasharOfTheAges wrote:I love how people defer the responcibility of them suking onto others. Enjoy the editing process, instead of seeing it as some horrible hell that you must undergo in order to get the true reward of internet ego-stroking, and you will be much happier about the whole thing. It's not required, but I recommend trying it at least once.
Uh, what again? Oh, the OP. Somebody told you to download videos. You can do that without making videos, believe it or not. Find a video, click on a link at the bottom that says "LOCAL", "DIRECT", or "INDIRECT", and save the resulting file on your hard drive. Watch it. Repeat as desired.
