There's an injustice in Most improved. Mostly that you need to actually release 2 videos in the same year. No love for the slow improvers or those that improve between the calender tics.

I always took it the other way. Like "Suck it, all of you! I never even saw AfterEffects until yesterday and I'm already kicking your ass!" Best First Video / Best Rookie depress the almighty hell out of me. In a good way.

On the other hand, it does set up an enormous amount of expectations for a winner's second video. Sucks to be them.
