Yea, exactly, its gunna be huge. It's better to work with something like that in a vector drawing program like Adobe Illustrator, than somthing like Photoshop. If you use photoshop (or gimp, or whatever, i doubt ms paint would cut it) though, then yea, its gunna be large.mitsukai212 wrote:So, How would I map something like that out. I mean, an image like that would have to be like twenty time bigger than the screem.
Technically you could also make lots of smaller images and just piece them together and make them all move the same way. In After Effects that would be really trivial, its just a matter of parenting the layers all together. In something like premiere though, it would probably be hell trying to get a bunch of layers to move the same way like that. So 1 large image is the best way, I would say.
Those numbers look like they were made in a 3d application, because they bend around in 3d space. Technically, I think you could do it in after effects with the 3d stroke plugin, but it would be rather complicated probably.mitsukai212 wrote:as far as the numbers thing . . . lol. . . ya, I am really sorry. Sometimes I fall short of words when I want to describe something.
But, while the screen was panning through the quotes or whatever, you didn't happen to see the numbers coming up onto the screen?
If you aren't concerned with the bending or 3d aspects of it, then its simply a combination of text and text outlines with a glow filter applied, and maybe some sort of blurs.
