If I remember correctly, the main character in Kamoc's "Climbing Up the Walls" video was a stick figure, and it's on local. Which would seem to indicate that no, it doesn't have to be really good.

It doesn't have to be like anime music. Just use what you think best.

Well, if it's anime music you want, the first solution that pops into my head is to get a copy of an anime soundtrack from either a local store or Amazon or something. FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, and .hack//SIGN have some nice music, to name a few. Some other popular anime music are listed here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=48508
