Anyways, a romance, I guess you could go for emo or pop punk...

it all depends on whether the romance was requited. If it's one sided then Emo, post early 90's, is perfect.

Dude, who made YOU the expert Pop Punk is punk rock, Emo is Punk rock, hardcore punk is punk rock, and frankly, it was kind of rude to point it out even if you were right.
