I want to start my video using Sound the bugle but am having a hard time deciding on which clips I want to use since i was going to try and use both the wolves and the humans. Do you think that they should each get their own vided, in other words the humans get one and the wolves get one, or should I still try and keep them all in the same video?

Hmm... Hard to say. I can think of two ways to open up...Gallup wrote:I want to start my video using Sound the bugle but am having a hard time deciding on which clips I want to use since i was going to try and use both the wolves and the humans. Maybe on each beat show the face of a different character, and then when it slows down, change to one shot of something nice - your choice.
Or, use the beats to set up a theme or tell a story.
If you're undecided - I think pick one way, and if you don't like it, re-do it. Try to fit as many characters as feasible is my advice. Your vid, up to you. Let the vid tell you what it wants.
PS - I've been thinking a lot of these Spirit songs would be great for Yu-Gi-Oh also - particularly "Get Off My Back" - there's a line something about, "Get out of my game" or something like that.
Making an amv, is rather like being the director of a Broadway show, where you have a million dancers and each of them only knows one step.

Thanks for the advice. I think that I am going to start the video by introducing the different characters and then when the lyrics start up change from character depending on what is being sung. I already know where I want certain scenes to go, such as the death of the youngest wolf and quint as well as the death of Hub and his ex-wife, so that should help me a bit. Hopefully it will turn out as good as what I have pictured in my head.

Balance is the key.Gallup wrote:I just have one final question. Do you think that the characters should stay in wolf form throughout the video or could I switch back and forth between humand and wolf depending on where the scene falls in the song?
Just remember that. You can the whole vid in human. You can go the whole vid in wolf. You can go half n half. Just pick something that looks good and fits right. Just like the series - they balance out both forms.

Or, try pretending there's no difference. There aren't two forms, it's just the same character - choose whatever facial expression or scene best fits.
Or you could use lots of overlaps in fun ways.
Or pretend tht each form is like another character.

I will keep all your suggestions in mind as I work on this vid. I just started placing clips together in the last couple of hours and I hope to reach at least the 40 second mark before I go to bed. This video might not take forever afterall. I hope that you will take the time to watch it once it is done and tell me what you think.
