Um, quick question. Are you trying to play the AVI file that you are currently downloading through BitTorrent?

AVIcodec says it doesn't support it.

You can't play the file you're dling until it's finished. And try forwarding your ports for bit torrent and it will dl a lot faster.

There are certain files that cant be read without specific codecs and players, for example, some Torrents download .Ogg files, and normal media players cant play those without the proper Plugins and whatnot, try these two pages that im about to link, they'll help even a complete moron understand certain things.
