Well, the thing is, in Photoshop, you don't have to worry about the temporal dimension, so you don't have to worry about things like keyframes... but you have to do every single frame individually (not counting the well nigh obligatory duplicate frames), so I imagine it takes more time than doing it in AE would.

But to tell the truth, I've never used After Effects before, so I don't know how much easier or harder it is. :P

Doing it in After Effects is incredibly easier most of the time.
There are a *few* times when i prefer to go over to photoshop though, like if the magic wand tool would work well on a certain clip.
