That's weird --- it should work even for non-donators... I thought I fixed that bug!

Anyway, I'll look into why it isn't.

Actually, it's done that way so people can't link strait to the download and bypass, e.g., the video info page and the pledge drive.
It takes you to the "downloadlocal.php?=XXXXX" page because each video is assigned a number. If XXXXX=the video you're trying to get, then it finds it, queues up a download, and lets the user download.
There are actually two localdownload pages. One of them uses downloadlocal.php, one doesn't. When you turn on bit_dl_nwo, it's supposed to not use downloadlocal anymore --- but for some reason, it still is...

With bit_dl_nwo, you should, but apparently its broken for non-donators. (Actually, it's a link to the video valid for 24 hours, I think)

derobert, after reading you replies here I had an idea. When I first set "bit_dl_nwo" checked and saved, I did not delete my temp files and browser cache before I went back to the same video I was trying to download. I had been deleting the cache between every try except that one.

So, I went back and checked and saved the "bit_dl_nwo" setting again and then deleted my browser's cache. Then I went to a completely different video and after passing the pledge page and getting to the final download page the "here" link was an actual movie file URL instead of the same "downloadlocal.php" file like it had been before. So, that means it works for what you were wanting it to work for. Also, since its a normal link, GetRight WILL work with it.

It amazes me sometimes how a browser just wants to cling to an old outdated page like that. Even when I have it set to check for a new version of the page each time it visits it. Unless of course those pages are not set to decay to begin with?
You know when you lean back in a chair on two legs and almost fall but just catch yourself at the last second? Well, that's how I feel all day.
