He's to indifferent and lackadaisical to moderate. Adept at instigating though.

I don't feel Wolfwood would be in the employ of the Yakuza, so the footage is non-seqiutur.

I mean sure the gung-ho guns, but only because you can't find employment elsewhere when you're a preacher without a parish, and tote a ridiculously large, heavy metallic cross that is capable of destroying anything. Where better than with a band of nihilistic uber-villains?
By comparison yakuza work would be tasteless, unfulfilling; and counterintuitive when a low profile is hubris.

What was my point? :o , perhaps it was that another anime character should have been used for the yakuza archetype...

I'm goin' with the man clad in white from Kill Bill (Oren's past).

Didn't the mods lock the last thread on this subject? FYI, guys, RootHubController's right: this subject's been beaten to death for months. No, I don't feel angry at Bush or even his campaign for this, even though Wolfwood is one of my favorite characters. I'm also not angry at Dr. Dude for one of his rather bizarre uses of one of my other favorite characters from Trigun:

Bottom line: get over it, people!

Umm, i'm pretty sure they weren't going so in-depth with their choice. i think in essence they wanted to show a Japanese person, but not be called or bitched out because it was a real person, or because his eyes were too small and it was racist.

but i hope not because gaddomn they messed up

Yeah, I went overboard, but it was meant to be in a facetious manner.

I didn't geniunely want to say much a serious pace... actually this is a beaten horse and we should let it go. I'll just hotlink an image of the part in question with the next (and last, for me) post.

You don't have permission to access "http://www.georgewbush.com/VideoAndAudio/Default.aspx" on this server.

I heard that the site was set up so that it can't be accessed from outside the united states. Supposedly, you'll have better luck at:

good luck

The sword at last must win,
Today is gone, and yesterday,
Must echo in the wind.

Those don't seem to work either.
