No your not experimenting, you've just run out of ideas. Unless someone has speakers worth more than most people's computers, they can't hear a difference between a high quality mp3 and AC3.DJ_Izumi wrote:
I'm not obsessing, I'm experimenting. I'd like to do AC-3 for all future trailer projects as well, plus I want to standardize the stretching out of anamorphic video to 856x480 (Or so, depending on cropping), things I'd like to continue to produce such awesome quality works.
And more importantly, who could possibly give a shit the whole ordeal?

Maybe other "types" of videos as well.Voices_Of_Ryan wrote:I would like to comment though, that in my honest opinion, you need to start working on other videos and stop obbsessing on making the video you've already released twice better.

I contemplated doing this, seeing how one of my videos is based off a DVD audio track that has a 5.1 (well, actually, 4.0 since it was decided by producers that the other two channels were not in any way useful for a music DVD, rightly or wrongly).
I decided against that, since I can't even test if it really works (having no 5.1 system), and the 2.0 track converted to MP3 was drastically easier to work with and still seemed to be enjoyed by people.
Now, if one day someone comes up to me for some reason (AS IF) and starts whining about how they want 'The Wasteland' in surround, I might reconsider. Hah, that'll be the day!...

Seriously, it's not going to attract more people to the AMV, if that's what you're trying to do - rather, quite conversely, it might turn a lot of the viewers off.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
