Hm, that would have been cool to watch it in German. Anyway, the original Vampire Hunter D was one of the first anime I ever watched. If you're into old-school anime, or if you just like to see animated blood and guts, pick it up some time.

VHD Bloodlust was the first good anime i saw becouse befor it all i saw was dbz, pokemon and stuff of that nature so i give it credit for getting me into anime. i saw the second one and it was ok the animation was crappy and so was pretty much everything else but it had some good scences and was funny in parts. i own both now but i dont think ill be watching the first again

if i remember correctly i read some where that there were 3 VHD novels and Bloodlust was the third one. i wish they would turn the second book into a movie and release the manga as well.
