That basicly sums it up. The main storyline/quest is kinda lame. I just did some stealin' then I'd murder the town and move on. It's fun to piss people off, then kill 'em and rob 'em. There's some mod where you can get kenshin to follow you around as a "bodyguard" but he was a dandy lad and got killed by one hit, so he sucks. But he had a cool sword.

I think ive got Elder Scrolls II, i think, i cant find the box, is that the one where ur a prisoner?? oh well but yeah thats a mad game, youve got me wanting to play it now. Thanks Fryt.

love the game, been addicted to it for like a year now ... bloodmoon is bad ass too, i havent tried tribunal (exp. packs) you can download them off torrent sites if you can find em now, itz been awhile since they were 1st linked.

but yea, it is addicting

I haven't messed around with the main quest, only the factions and the Naked Mod, because I'm a lesbian perv. I went to that commona tong town and some guy just outside of it said if i paid 100 gold he'd protect me from the 'bad guys'. When I said no, he killed me. So I went back and tried to kill him again but failed, even with the slave following me around.
So I punched him in the face and then ran.

And yeah, I have the bloodmoon and tribunal. I haven't played w/out it so I don't know the difference.

Got it for the Xbox. Haven't done too much with it; my backlog of console/handheld RPGs and action/adventure games currently is at over 90 titles, on six different platforms.

And it ain't getting shorter. I've just started dot Hack part 1 (for PS2) -- if that's not all, I've just started a single-song-multiple-AMV project to test myself on. Now all I need to do is clone myself about three or four times to do all of these tasks.

Anyone know a good mad scientist? Preferably cute?

geez, if you guys like killing and robbing so much, just join the theives guild. i did and its sweet. if you steal a lot of stuff, or kill people, they can take the bounty off of your head for half the price, i beleive.

It's a very good game. It's very long. The only beef I have is that it has essentially no replay value. Yeah, you can play as a different character type, but because of the levelling system, by the time you get to a decent point in the game you can have almost all of the skills, not to mention stats, at ridiculous levels anyway, so you can essentially turn yourself into a master of everything. In my opinion they should have had conflicting skills, where levelling one up lowers the other. That would have made for very diverse character types.

Still a very good game though, and hell, my suggestion might even be possible in a mod. I may have to look into that.

You could still begin again and join different factions, because some of them have conflicting missions which force you to not be able to join another guild.
