hmm Gravitation, excel saga and evangelion have live action elements

what's it matter if an amv does?

spose it not an amv without anime content

it'd be a fmv otherwise, friend showed me some stargate ones

It's ok... it does look strange to people.. but if u run outta footage and thats all u have left do it.. i did it and video i did turned out fine... but my aim was too have it in, cuz i wanted each ep in it...

if u wanna see what it could be like look at my animatrix vid...

Animatrix vid

ah well... i say do it, it may look strange at first, but if your happy with it then keep it like that, if not, mmm edit down the song like said... but u'll probly be able to do abit better than me...

Some "anime" shows actually contain small amounts of live-action video already (e.g. atmospheric crowd scenes in Boogiepop Phantom), and many contain obvious 3D rendering in a show that primarily sticks to a cel-based look (e.g. space battles in VanDread). Of course, some "cels" are actually computer graphics anyway. If real anime is allowed to contain so-called "non-anime" footage, then I don't think we should hesitate to put that stuff into our anime music videos.
