Deja Vu all over again

Post by Nurd » Thu Aug 07, 2003 11:08 am

The most recent scientific explanation of Deja Vu is that sometimes your brain stores your memories wrong. So when you see/hear/feel something for the first time, your brain stores it in a past location along with something else (ie. Dream, voices in head, etc) so that you immediately feel you've been/done/heard this before. And since it's stored in that location of your memory, you will always believe that you actually saw it in a prior time because your brain tells you that it happened in the past at some point, but in reality, it didn't, you weren't there, didn't hear it, and have no idea what's going on.

That's the scientific explanation at any rate, take it how you will.

Peace,

Nurd
