I think it's you; for as long as I've been here (which still isn't long, but anyway) there have been quite a few female AMVers.
I just tend to have female names because I have no imagination and use my name, so sometimes I'm one of the few people in a particular group who's known to be female from day one. And yes, it is a pain in the ass when people make a big deal about it.
*points up* That too. I've seen that a LOT on other boards, too - once it sort of gets around that people aren't going to make a big deal out of your gender, more girls either stop lurking and stop posting, or let it be known that they are female despite neutral SNs.
