I always found it funny that Shinbou (sp?) referred to Sumomo as a portable persocom. I thought they were all portable.
In the Manga, Sumomo and Kotoko are refered to as laptop persocoms and that is because of their size

Haha, sorry, I've never read the manga, but miniature female robot/computers being called laptops just made me laugh.

I love the concept of the laptop persocoms, I like that better than my mobile alienware

Sumomo has always been WAAAAAAAAY to hyper. Its just that when she's in the presence of Kotoko, her hyperness is more pronounced, since the two are exact opposites of each other.

They're not. I saw the first episode yesterday night

It's very Adventures of Mini-Goddess- an entertaining spinoff; something for the supporting cast to do whilst the others are out and about. It's mainly Sumomo going hyper nuts and dragging Kotoko into silly adventures. Also like Mini-Goddess, they refuse to show Hideki's or Chii's faces

In this episode, Chii goes after Hideki thinking that he's forgotten his wallet (although only after Sumomo and Kotoko force her to put on some school clothes rather than go out half-naked), when Sumomo suddenly points to a pair of "pantsu" on the floor. The dialogue is something along the lines of "Oh no! Major disaster! Panic!! Panic!!!". Sumomo then drags Kotoko into chasing after her. As they can't open the door, they are forced to use a rocket to fly out the window instead (using the "pantsu" as a parachute, of course).

Eventually, they catch up to Chii in an alley, just as an inopportune gust of wind lifts her skirt. Shocked faces abound.

Kotoko: "Chii's... Chii's... Chii's WEARING PANTSU!"
Sumomo (tying Chii's hair into braids and attaching ribbons): "Yeah? I knew that."
Kotoko: "Then what was the emergency?!"
Sumomo: "If Chii's wearing this kind of [school] outfit, she has to have braids and ribbons! The pantsu were just a parachute."
(Kotoko flashes back to the room. Sumomo was actually pointing to the ribbons, which were just beyond the pantsu)
Kotoko: *sigh*

That about sums it up.

Sumomo is just adorable being a hyper active idiot. That was probably an understatement but that was the way she was programmed along with that cute dance.
huh? i'm going to make a lot of mistakes. quite reassuring.
