Vegas 8 and 9 (one is less bitchier than another sometimes) and Photoshop 7 for anything additional.

yep...I'm 4 versions behind, but new versions of editing software generally don't add much that's useful for AMVers.
Yeah, premiere pro got some good features in later versions...but I'd rather spend the money oncrack animu (or

Apple Final Cut Express 4 for editing. Aviedemux, MPEGstreamclip, Mac the Ripper for pre/post processing. I also occasionally use Vdub and avisynth via Crossover.
