it is awesome, its prettyness and dance and that song kicks ass... and i was kicking myself when i saw it cause i should have thought of it first O:

but it doesnt summerize the plot of the show at all, its just all random movements and pretty dancing...

Because most people disagree, myself included.

From what I heard about its con premiere, the dealers room quickly sold out of the series shortly after it played.

Bah, whatever, it's a personal opinion. I'm sure lots of people like it for a reason ... don't know what, but they do.

Guy doesn't like it because it doesn't have horrible flashy effects and standard beat synch, but rather a nice use of internal synch with the dancing.

No, it's just the dancing, that stuff doesn't work for anime.

personally i think hold me now is excellent, true the images dont sync to every little beat but the images flow excellently with the music, ive been trying to figure out how to make an amv using that song but i cant think of any concept that would match the song as well as hold me now

my cousin on the other hand who is my accomplice in crime as far as critiquing amvs and anime thinks hold me now is a very boring amv so there you go with two views of it

but considering on the sheer number of opinions that swept it up to the top of the top 10% i'm pretty confident i'm not crazy in thinking it's good

but that said it still does not belong on any top 10 list for summarizing a series as i actually watched a bit of princess tutu after seeing that amv and quickly got bored
