The Fray- Cable Car

Post by Chris-Sasami-Bunny » Sun Apr 29, 2007 12:28 am

Okay, so I know that a lot of people don't like Fray, but I do. And I have viewed a a good half of the videos for Cable Car and have not been satisified with anyone of them. So my challenge is to make a good Music Video to a very well know Anime, preferable something slightly romantic that actually goes along with the lyrics. And use only ONE anime. I would love to see someone pull this off to something it fits. Even Prince of Tennis. Nothing I have seen has match the idea of the song.

I guess the best way to describe it is as a feeling of losing everyone you love. And especially the person you love. Everyone listens to the chorus and thinks it's about getting in over your head, but your there because you aren't thinking about what your doing, your thinking about what you want. "With 8 seconds left in overtime, she's on your mind." This what it's about feeling totally left alone.

It's easy to find a list of the lyrics online.

Losing everyone you love? Well, that just makes me think of Air.. Yeah. One of the few animes I've seen where the ending isn't a happy dandy one.
But it's held in a fantasy world so cable cars wouldn't fit in that.. would it?
Another one, I think, might be Karin. The ending is a total twist though. XD
Peach Girl is definitely a dramatic story about losing the one you love. It's very very shoujo.

Clearly the correct answer is The Truman Show. 8-)
