Uploading first videos issues

Post by TheSteelCat » Wed Feb 28, 2007 4:37 am

I have an anime music video and I read the requirements, but I'm not sure what it means when it says;

* the entry has a premiere date
* the premiere date is more than 14 days in the past
* the date the video information was first entered into the system is more than 14 days in the past
* the date available is in the past

I don't understand all this about premiere dates. :?

* the entry has anime listed
* the entry has music listed

Does this mean it must contain the name of the anime/characters and music/band used in the actual video itself, or just as text.

I have a video I made a while ago, and I'm not sure if it meets the criteria, or not.

It's quite basic, a certain character from an anime, different footage of him, set to music. But there is no text, or credit given in the actual video.

Would I need to go back and edit the video?

These things are not actual requirements. These basically explain when you become unable to edit things in your catalog entry such as anime and music. The premiere date is the date that you upload your video onto the org for viewing. So this section is basically saying that if your video has been uploaded for viewing and the date that you uploaded it (premiered) is more than 14 days ago, you can't edit the entry for anime or music (but you can edit comments and such).

No, you do not need to go back and edit the video. This is just making sure that in your catalog entry, you specify correctly the anime and music that you used for your vid.
