Do we have to parody an anime intro, or can we mimic the beginning from an American cartoon?

I'm seeing another year with like 3 theme entries. Which, I suppose, means that if someone wants some free anime and shit all they have to do is be better than 2 other people instead of the normal 20 or 30 like the drama category.
