I suppose i can agree with beowolf to a certain extent..
But i belive that it is only when you have fully come to understand whatever you may be working with that you can truly enjoy it.
You see it goes for all things.. for a first year football player the pace of play is sooo fast.. the get easily confused and make a lot of mistakes.. but for a third or fourth year.. that pace feels normal or even a lil slow.. so they know how to read plays and they do good.. as such they have fun..
The same can be applied to photoshop or adobe premire aswell.. you wont have fun unless your using at least 80% of the programs full potential..
I still consider myself a newbie editor.. but as far as photoshop goes.. well my skills give me enough options that i can look at a blank screen.. know what i want.. and make it...
In either i still have alot of fun.
and in editing.. usually.. although i do enjoy it.. i really only make a music video when i feel it absolutely has to be made.. as such i pour everything i have into it and as a result i can only do one project at a time.. usually with like a 2 month break in between..
So long story short.. i think we all have fun no matter the level.. but i can see how skill can get in the way of the whole "awwwwwww factor" of a video.
how you spend the midnight hours editing!

Close calls are always the most exciting. Coming close is always the most dissapointing.

Also, midnight editing for me usually involves no connection to any internets, lots of junk food, and Pendulum blasting out of my stereo for rotoscoping. Anything else is too distracting.

well midnight editing is calm and quiet but I can't help myself to check all my email and friendster when Ima comp =P though it's pretty enjoyable making AMV if your in the mood of it (though I'm done my first AMV and thinking my next AMV too ^^). Listening to emo too is good though I mix it with kinda RnB and hard Metal for change so got lil bit mobilizing ^_^.
