Annoying twitching..
I'm trying to make an AMV to one of the most over-used anime out there called Advent Children. According to Scintilla's guide I should be using huffyuv clips, but when I play them on Windows Media Player (or any other player I have on my comp) they twitch annoyingly (they slow down suddenly and then speed up again). I tried different codecs and found out XviD MPEG-4 Codec doesn't cause twitching (or at least as much as the other codecs)... But can I safely use those XviD clips in Windows Movie Maker?

Yes, like Minion said, huffyuv files are so big, your hard drive cant read the data fast enough to play them back smoothly. The goal isn't to be able to watch them from that format, but to just be able to use the data.

Yeah, I noticed that. I was just thinking if I did something wrong.. They work fine, but huffyuv clips do not run smoothly in WMM. They're slowing down all the time and it's impossible to get music / editing syncing look right. I don't know how I'm supposed to edit faster paced scenes
They're slow even when I'm using clips something like 10 seconds long..

No. I'd suggest getting a more capable piece of software though. I used to run Premiere just fine with less RAM than that.Emong wrote: So I should use lossy clips?
