I got a small question...

Post by guts_the_badass » Mon Dec 11, 2006 4:31 pm

This might seem really wierd, but...Why is Killer 7 considered NON ANIME?
It's can't be because it's not japanese...I just say this because I have a video that I want to put on here that is of the killer 7, and it was listed under NON ANIME. Why?
Hmmm...

It has to be an anime/Japanese based game like Final Fantasy, Shenmue, KH etc to be considered anime

Anime looking and actual Japanese animation are two different things. (Hence why Avatar and Teen Titans are considered non-anime here) And actually, "because its not Japanese" would be the reason something would be categorized as non-anime. Here, the definition of anime is animation that comes from Japan, and they have also extended that to video games as well. If you can prove to the mods that it is in fact a Japanese game that should be categorized as anime, then I'm sure they will change it. Other than that, I'm afraid you are probably out of luck. :(

If Devil May Cry and Resident Evil are considered "Anime"...then Killer 7 should be in the same category. I can and will prove it!!!!

You should ask in the "Site Help" or "Site Feedback Section" about it so a mod can approve it if they consider it anime.

Keep in mind just because a couple games from a company are considered an anime on this site doesn't mean every game by that company will.

Fair enough...I have proof anyway.
How would I go about presenting it to the Mods?
Thanks for the help, BTW.

No prob
Actually you might not have to make another post in those sections asking a mod.
One will probably come and move this thread or answer your question here.
You need to post your proof that it should be considered an anime though.
