step 1: go to the video info page
step 2: click on "local"
step 3: read/skim/skip through the donation information and click one of the three buttons (click one of the two pledge buttons if you think the site is awesome and want to help out...even a $1 donation helps out. Click procede if you don't)
step 4: wait for 10 seconds and click save to disk (you can open it in a media player directly if you want...but saving it to disk helps if the video doesn't want to play right away)

What do you mean by "didn't work"? Did you get an error message or something like that?

Was every time I try I keep getting some kind of pop up, I guess if I try again I'll try to remember what it says.

probably your media player is set to automatically play the filed or something like that. Just use the Right click option to save the video.

if you're using Internet Explorer, and you get a bar that appears near the top of the screen...it's a security measure (that can get pretty annoying)

to override it, hold control when you navigate to the page and hold it for the full 10 seconds.

if you're using firefox (or opera, etc...something not IE) you should get a pop-up dialouge box asking if you want to open the file with a program, or save it to disk in the lower right part of the screen, at any rate, click ok or save
