The Anti-Anime-Stereotype Contest

Ok, this idea has been in my head for a while, but I have wanted to do it for a while. Since today is my birthday, and I will be getting an awesome enough computer to handle "good" amv making, then I will finally be opening up the "Anti-Anime-Sterotype" contest. Prizes will be awarded after the completion of the tenth round (more later). Prizes will be custom-made sigs representing which round that you have won in, and featuring the stereotyped character you used.

The basic information about this contest is this: this contest is designed to view the many anime sterotypes that many people see in anime. Each round will have a different sterotype, and each round will require a one-minute AMV. Pretty simple? I'm not done yet. All AMV's can be made in any editor, and using any anime (unless otherwise noted). BUT: remember, this is a contest, and I will be judging on a 1-10 scale, taking off a point for each negative point in the AMV.

I will judge most heavily on these certain aspects on each round (will be notified ahead of time:

Subtitles (oooh....i...hate...them)
Video Quality
Music/Audio Quality
Music/Video Sync
Meeting the sterotype

Finishing/Winning:

Winners will be announced in a formal AMV that I will be making at the end of the project. In order to see if you have won, you will have to wait until the end of the contest and view the AMV created. The AMV will be sort of an awards ceremony, showing the winners of each round.

I am not opposed to letting you upload the info to the org, and letting me download it if it is the simplest for you. I would, however, more enjoy if you used a file-sending program and send it to: code_chrono@yahoo.com

This way, I will have all of the entries in my e-mail box, and be more organized.

All right, with all of that said and done, let's get on with the show with Round one!

Round One: The Pervert

Many animes have at least one character that is a total pervert or ladies man. Your assignment in this round is to take the pervert from any anime (no hentai or any other non-approved material for the org, violaters will be disqualified), and fuse it with any song. I will be grading heavily on music/video sync in this round, along with video quailty. Subtitles will result in immideate disqualifacation(just this round).
