There might be an option to turn it off somewhere. I remember it was in the dialler box on my ISP. Been ages since I had dial-up though.

thats just why i'm not bothering to do much with my computer untill i buy a new one.

i also havent loaded the programs i need to make new videos on this computer. (i had to return my college laptop and all my old videos are burned on disks)

anyway thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone and I'll try to get this computer fixed up enough to make the video in the next couple of weeks.
