The joke IS, that people who join RDS (random destination studios) kinda ...stop making vids once they join (like koop). So AD made AMVAPP huh? never knew that ...never cared really now that i think about it, how about getting someone ELSE to do it? any takers? ^_^;

I'm quite aware of the joke since I'm one of those RDS members that hasn't edited anything in a long time. :P

And making a new AMVapp from scratch would be a lot of work considering all the things the current AMVapp does durring installation and that probably only AD has the installer scripts he wrote for it.

Maybe I need to specifically guy07's question, or read into it if you will.
Let us pretend that guy07 wrote:Will there be a release of an updated version of AMVapp sometime soon, if so when, or is someone at least working on it, if so who?
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Now that, I can not answer with any real certainty.
I might go out on a limb and say that you might expect something to come out in the next few months.

...but... if it doesn't... you didn't hear anything from me >.>

Why would you want to do that? There are differences...

So there's a good chance that somebody somewhere may possible release a possible update for AMVapp sometime in the future ... maybe. Correct? Glad we clairified that ... >_<
But keep us posted Zarx, if you would be so kind.

Yeah, but nothing very major and I wish there weren't any. Standards, people. Standards. Even the "standard" MPEG-4 is guilty of this with all the "parts" and "profiles". But ultimately, it shouldn't make a difference if the same decoder can playback either.

It's kinda like me saying that my MPEG-2 encode is a TMPGEnc video, versus your MainConcept video, or someone else's CCE video. :(
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image
