Uploading An AMV

Post by xsx » Thu Aug 17, 2006 8:53 am

Sorry if there is already a topic on this, I have trouble finding things.

Funny thing is, I uploaded an amv, works good.

Like a month later, I forgot how to upload an amv, I tried everything, I did what my memory thought served me right.

I went to "Confirm video" After checking out the boxes descripting my amv, and there was that thing on "Not finding my amv"

So I go to "Edit my videos" click on my amv to edit it. I go to the "link" selection because I remember last time I used a fill in box like that below. I put my last amv on photobucket and I think I put that html in the link place, and then I filled out the proper codec,biterate...etc. And that amv worked fine.

I did the same thing for my newest amv, I put it on photobucket, tried using the url link, putting in all the right information, but it didnt work, I tried numerous times.

The two amv's both use windowsmedia player.

I know I didnt download anything or go to any websites saying "make user post your video here" type things to help me put on my first amv.
And Im not planning too.

It was easy as hell the first time...I guess it was beginners luck.

T_T

If you helped me out, I would deeply appreciate it.

I know there is a link to how to do this, but I don't feel like looking this early in the morning. (Yes, noon is early)

1) Go to Enter New Video and fill out the information

2) Go to Upload video and follow the instuctions on uploading it with an FTP client using the password and domanin name.

3) Confirm the video as is asked, (entering the size in bytes, etc)

That should be all and there are many posts like this.
