Right now, I have a STRONG obsession with The Monkees, and I felt an urge to make a thread about them. The Monkees rule! I watched an episode of the TV show last week where one of the members goes under cover as this mob boss. It was so funny! They've also got good music of course.

rofl - i think the last episode i saw involved them at the end being chased by aliens and eventually a guy in a monkey suit for 5 mins. I also think thats the reason why it was the last

I think it was last week or the week before, I saw the movie "Daydream Believers:The Monkees Story" on VH1 Classic, and if I remember correctly, the show was cancelled, because they wanted to be taken more seriously as a band or something. I'm not sure.

taken seriously? havn't seen the show or heard of them in like 5 years but wat i remember was "hey hey we're the monkeys" .... for some reason i can't take that seriously.... XD
