AMVAPP - Lame Codec failure

I Installed all the stuff for AMVAPP except a few progs cause I already had them and when I got done I tried to use the Lame encoder but I got a "Faliure to open codec" message, Im Using Vegas 6 by the way.

LAME isn't a codec, per se. Additionally, I have to wonder why you would be trying to use LAME in Vegas. You shouldn't be using MP3 audio in an editing prog in the first place, and converting to WAV is trivially easy using one of many tools. You also shouldn't be using LAME to encode in Vegas, since encoding is better done outside the editing prog.

yes I have trouble converting to LAME in vegas after I've done an AMV. Make an uncompressed video/audio then compress your video audio in another programs like virtualdub/virtualdubmod
