Ahhh, screw it!

I finally saw the first episode, and well, it's definitely...good. I can describe many things to this series, but I choose good because of the whole yuri thing got me giddy-ish. Don't ask me why...

Plus, the story is pretty interesting and the animation is nice...so that's good.

It kinda reminded me of a movie that I watched a while ago called Lost and Delirious starring Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare. Almost a similar story with a similar school background such as this series, but this movie is pretty sad and well more mature than this series. Not to mention some nudity and g-o-g action, heehee...

Kagome's bear Ohshibaru as "Pedobear" is hysterical. And evil.

The crossed out bits are great two.

Does anyone here have any idea how well Strawberry Panic has done is Japan? While I've been watching it fansubbed, I really would like to see it licenced and brought over here officially.

Seriously, what are the odds of it being licenced?

I found this one more entertaining that the Marimite one. (Big shot outs to the MgM and KnM plugs.) Even though I am hating on the actions and NON-actions of these characters I keep on watching. It's like looking at an accident scene. I can't turn my head away.

Episode 14 has new OP and ED sequences. I already discussed about the OP before with its "interesting" developments, but the new ED sequence was really REALLY weird.

Now for the episode itself....

Yaya's and Hikari's best friend relationship is on the line ever since Yaya gave her a big wet one, and she started groping her.

So it's up to Nagisa, Tsubomi, and Tamao to put things back. Well, they did succeed in the end.

Though I did find it amusing that when Yaya wanted to sleep in Tamao's bed, it led again for Tamao to sleep in Nagisa's bed. Doesn't she have it made?

Next episode is the requisite cultural festival!

Just got done watching ep 14 and I had to say a few things.

First, the new opening theme is great. The imagery is better.

Second, the new ending is. . . odd.

Third (spoilery)

I really liked how they showed the consequences of Yaya's actions. She went too far and seriously threated a close friendship. While I'm not surprised Hikari forgave Yaya since Hikari is such a good person, I would have liked to see it dragged out a little more.

Also, I think this episode illustrates what I said before about Nagisa and Shizuma's encounter. Shizuma moved too fast when she and Nagisa were in her room, but it wasn't exactly an unwanted move.

With Hikari and Yaya, Hikari has ZERO romantic interest in her best friend.

With Nagisa and Shizuma, Nagisa is interested, she just hasn't decided yet how interested she really is.
Anyway, just my thoughts.

Now, I go to make a prayer to Haruhi that Strawberry Panic! will be licenced soon.

Just saw ep 15.

Blah blah blah write play. Big political fight over who's in play. Cosplayer kiss. (It was actually kind of cute in a cheating sort of way.) Decide who is in the play. Teddy bears make great Romeos. Yaya still alone and brooding. Nagisa can't act for sh*t. Vampire girl can actually laugh and evil lesbian duo get freaky in a tub.

You know, looking at Nagisa's reaction to Shizuma now (still blushing acting like nothing wrong happend) I'm starting to think that she wanted Shizuma to take her that night. She a little closet horny mo-fo. At the same time, Shizuma is not showing her predatory ways at the moment. She's gone back to the fruit bat mode.

I also think Tamao is noticing that she is still losing her battle to Shizuma. I think that was her at the end watching the two future love birds acting.

I want to see how this play ends up. It looks like it might be good.
